SHADOWS
Alone though I appear
They are still beside me.
Memories possess their faces -
they will forever guide me.
And as I fall they kiss me -
and I know they will not be forgotten
For they lift me with their wings -
before I hit the bottom.
It is then that I realize -
I will never walk alone as long as their love nurtures
in my heart and kindness finds a home.
